Hi! My name is Alex, and I’m the founder of Saanich Strength Society.
When I was younger, I took my health for granted and found myself 25 years old, obese and with various lifestyle issues. The habits I cultivated to help climb out of the hole I had dug for myself became a lifestyle. This lifestyle interested me far more than my prior career, so I decided to make it my profession.
I want to help people live happier and healthier lives. At Saanich Strength Society we integrate health, fitness, and awareness to help people to feel their absolute best in their bodies.

As somebody who has been unhealthy, I know how hard it is to make lifestyle changes and how daunting it can be. My goal isn’t to just help people become more fit, I want to help them live longer, healthier lives.
